The Rose Farm Inn is conveniently located approximately one mile from the ferry terminal and just
about a 10-15 minute walk from town, shops, restaurants, and nearby beaches. Guests enjoy being
close to everything while still enjoying a peaceful and secluded setting.

Yes. Many guests choose to walk from the ferry terminal to Rose Farm Inn. The walk typically takes
about 20-25 minutes and includes some uphill sections. If traveling with luggage, a taxi may be more
comfortable.

Rose Farm Inn does not offer shuffle transportation. Taxis are typically available at the ferry terminal
upon arrival.

The Block Island Airport is located approximately 2 miles from the inn and is only a short taxi ride
away.

Whether you’re traveling from Montauk, Pt. Judith, or New London. Parking is available at several
lots near the ferry terminals. We recommend checking directly with each ferry service for current
parking options and rates.

Popular transportation options include bicycles, mopeds, taxis, golf carts, and personal vehicles. Many
guests enjoy exploring the island by walking or by bicycle.

The Rose Farm Inn offers on-site bicycle rentals through Beach Rose Bicycles. Moped and golf cart
rentals are available from several independent businesses on the island.

Check-in begins at 4PM and check-out is at 11AM

Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Please
contact the front desk before your arrival or departure.

Yes. Luggage storage is available for guests arriving early or departing later in the day.

Yes. Guests are welcome to enjoy the grounds and common areas while waiting for their room to
become available. We also offer guests free guest bathrooms and showers for guests waiting for their
room or before you take the trip home on the ferry.

Please contact the inn before your arrival date if you expect to arrive late. Staff will provide
instructions for a smooth after-hours arrival.

The Rose Farm Inn offers accommodations in both the historic Farm House and the Captain Rose
House, with a variety of room types featuring ocean views, countryside views, private baths and select
rooms with whirlpool tubs.

The Farm House offers classic New England charm with cozy accommodations, while the Captain
Rose House features larger guest rooms and many of the property’s premium accommodations. Both
buildings offer beautiful views and private bathrooms.

Depends on the accommodation. Most rooms have private bathrooms apart from Farm House Room 6
& 7 will have a shared bathroom.

Yes. All guest rooms are equipped with air conditioning!

Yes. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

Yes. Guest rooms include refrigerators and Smart TVs for your convenience.

No, The buildings are historic in nature and do not have elevators.

Yes. Complimentary on-site parking is available for registered guests.

Yes, complimentary beach towels are available for hotel guests and can be picked up at the front desk
during office hours. The Rose Farm Inn does not provide beach chairs and umbrellas. However, guests
visiting Fred Benson Town Beach can rent both chairs and umbrellas directly from the pavilion.

Absolutely, Bicycle rentals are available on-site through Beach Rose Bicycles!

Yes, Guests may store bicycles on the property. Please speak with the front desk for recommendations!

Yes. Daily housekeeping service is included with your stay.

Coffee is available during breakfast service and throughout the day! There are nespresso pods
available for guests use located in the Farm House.

Yes. A complimentary expanded continental breakfast is included with every stay at The Rose Farm
Inn!

Guests enjoy an expanded continental breakfast featuring fresh pastries, fruit, coffee, tea, and other
breakfast favorites.

Breakfast is only served daily from 8AM to 10AM.

Yes. The Rose Farm Inn is within walking distance of many Block Island’s restaurants, including The
Atlantic and Spring House. Our staff would be happy to provide you with recommendations! (We all
have our favorites)

Absolutely! Guests can enjoy cocktails at The Atlantic, Spring House, and many establishments located
in Old Harbor, all within walking distance of the inn.

All cancellations are subject to a fee equal to 10% of the reservation total and must be made at least
twenty-one (21) days prior to arrival.

Reservations cancelled within twenty-one (21) days of arrival are non-refundable, and no changes are
permitted. No refunds or credits are provided for early departures or no-shows.

The Rose Farm Inn accepts all major credit cards. Please contact the inn directly for additional
payment questions.

Rose Farm Inn welcomes dogs in Captain Rose House Room 11 only. A fee of $40 per dog, per night
applies. Pets are not permitted in any other guest rooms.

Yes. Service animals are always welcome in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Minimum stay requirements may apply during peak season, holidays, and special event weekends.
